A Knox County woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Sevier County last week.

Kathryn M. Bolden, 41 of Knoxville, faces charges relating to the May 10 incident after the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department received a call at 710 Douglas Dam Road stating that a woman was on the property firing a handgun into the residence.

When officers arrived to the house they found Bolden on the front porch of the home, which belongs to another individual.

Upon seeing the officers Bolden started to threaten to shoot them and herself if the officers approached her.
