As of this week an armed robber is on the loose in Seymour.

Domino’s Pizza at 10635 Chapman Hwy. was robbed May 7 and the suspect managed to elude local authorities and escape.

“The robbery took place in a heavy traffic area and there was minimal evidence left behind,” said Sevier County Detective Matthew Cubberley. “We are currently in the process of investigating the case.”

Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said the robbery took place sometime between 2:15 and 2:30 p.m.
