A little history and some plans for the future are on the agenda for Friends of the Seymour Library’s annual general meeting at 7 p.m. May 15 in the library’s Community Room.

Everyone who uses the library is invited to share library experiences and memories of the library’s progress over the years and to participate in planning the library’s future, said FOSL President Colleen Shannon.

“Join us for a piece of pie, a slice of history and the opportunity to stir things up a bit,” she said.

The library has a varied past. In the early 1970s, it began life as a few shelves in a beauty parlor at the home of Elizabeth Cruze.  Hours were whenever the beauty shop was open.
