The Seymour Lady Eagles started District 2-AAA play like they mean business by trouncing the Sevier County Bearettes 14-0.

The Lady Eagles were dominant at both ends of the game as Carly Lewis pitched a no hitter and at the place hits were as numerous as pins in a new shirt.

Seymour wasted no time as they exploded for five runs in the first inning, six in the second and three in the fourth.  At that point the game was over.

The Lady Eagles started the onslaught with a triple by Kerigan Newport.  She scored after a hit by Sam Baldwin.
