Although the development of technology has forever changed the way educators teach, LeAnne Webb believes hands-on activates should also have a prominent place in the classroom.
“I love to look for new ideas,” she said.
One of the new interactive ideas Webb has utilized in her third grade classroom at Seymour Intermediate is a poetry book based on colors.
“Everyday we pick a different color and the students will write a short poem about things that are associated with that color and then add some artwork to it,” Webb said.
