With a student chosen Hollywood theme, and “Tonight’s Dreams…Tomorrow’s Memory” as a slogan, Seymour’s prom is shaping up to be a glamorous and exciting event for both students and organizers.

“Our principle, Greg Clark, wanted to do something so there would be other things going on in addition to the traditional prom event,” said Krisi McCord, a SHS chemistry teacher and one of the prom organizers. “With the Hollywood theme we were able to tie everything together.”

One of theme-oriented spectacles that will take place at the Hollywood-style event scheduled for April 28 is a star for every senior equipped with a student provided quote or memory.

All of the stars will be hung on various student designed backdrops and made visible during the event.
