The series scoreboard between Seymour and Sevier County baseball stands Smoky Bears-one, Mother Nature-one, and the Eagles- zero.

In the first game of a home and home series, Sevier County escaped with a narrow win 3-2.

The second game was halted after 2 innings at Seymour due to rain.  The Eagles were fortunate as they trailed 2-0 at that point.  The game will be replayed at a later date at Seymour and the score will go back to 0-0.

It was a classic battle between the two county and District 2-AAA rivals at Sevier County.  Both teams are toward the top of the district and Seymour is trying to repeat as the champions of the league after going undefeated last season.
