Librarian Robyn Robb arranges references at Seymour Primary. (The Herald/Alex Shelton)

Although Robyn Robb has the option of managing libraries at any level, she has spent most of her career working with Seymour schools.

After graduating from Maryville College in 1976 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, she was off to the University of Tennessee for her Master’s Degree in Library Science. During her time at UT, she received the opportunity to work in the research library at Oak Ridge National Lab.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Robb began her career as a librarian for Seymour Middle School, where she remained for 11 years. She returned to Florida for a year after that, but made her way back to the Seymour area to stay, first at Seymour Intermediate, then at her current location at Seymour Primary.

In her spare time Robb enjoys reading Christian non-fiction books and traveling. She has been to England, Spain and the Caribbean. In her next trip, she said she hopes to venture toward Alaska for a getaway.
