Gary Underwood has been in the insurance business for more than 20 years.

“When I first started off I traveled a lot, but I wanted to do something local,” he said. “It’s nice not having to pack a suitcase and stay in hotels all the time.”

As an agency owner of Farmers Insurance Group, Underwood is responsible for the operations of his business as well as providing personalized insurance policies to his customers.
“I like to work local so I can fit our policies to the personalized needs of my customers,” he said. “It’s a good thing to be able to sit down with everybody and provide the polices they need on a case-by-case basis.”

Underwood also emphasized the importance of stability and educating every customer on their policies in order to protect their assets and to help them reach their financial goals.
