It has been one year since the devastating hail and wind storms of late April ripped through Seymour and surrounding areas.
As a result of the onslaught, automobiles, homes, and an assortment of outdoor property were left in shambles.
Although insurance companies and various home and auto repair businesses have been working feverishly to meet the demanding needs of those affected last year, the extent of the damage continues to remain prevalent today.
“I’m still dealing with claims that were filed because of the hail damage caused on April of last year,” said Paul Walker, owner of Walker’s Automotive Collision Repair, which is located in Seymour. “We have scheduled repairs for the next six months because of that storm.”
The week before the anniversary of the catastrophic storm, Walker said he still had customers coming in with repairs.
