The South Knoxville area now has a new oil and lube shop that hopes to draw business in by sacrificing a little profit in efforts to give a quality product at a lower price.

If people are wise in their consuming habits, this is a practice which can play favorably to both business owner and customer in any market.

“We’re going to beat the competition with better prices,” new operator Jet Patel said. “We’ll treat them right, we’re not going to rip them off, and we’ll do it with smiling faces.”

South Knox Quick Oil Change, located at 6537 Chapman Hwy., hopes to execute the old-fashioned economic practice. South Knox does brakes, tune-ups and oil changes with the intent of providing quality service.
