Ken Parham, a Deputy for the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department, takes pride in the service he has provided to both his country and community.

“I loved serving my country in the Navy, but being deployed so much made it difficult on me and my family,” he said.

Parham, who served in the Navy for four years, was on active deployment for the birth of each of his three daughters.

“Working for the Sheriff’s Department allows me to provide a level of service while still being able to be around my family,” Parham said. “It is nice to be able to see my wife and daughters everyday.”
