The Seymour Eagle Baseball team enjoyed an overall good spring break week of play, splitting their series with Jefferson County and taking two big games in the Blount County Tournament against Maryville and Alcoa.
Seymour is 13-6 overall and 6-4 in the 2-AAA District.
The Eagles took the first game against the Jefferson County Patriots at home 3-1 and dropped their away game at Jefferson County 9-3.
For Seymour, pitching was the story in the first game as Hunter Neff was outstanding on the mound, striking out 10 hitters and allowing only four hits.
