The storm that tore through Seymour and other parts of East Tennessee Monday evening caused a significant amount of damage to a resident’s home on Carr Street.
“It ripped the roof right off my shed,” said Rosalie Stutzman, the owner of the property. “The tractor that was inside of the shed was fine.”
When the roof flew off it hit the home of Stutzman’s daughter, Cathy Hobbs, who lives in a separate home on the same piece of land.
“I was looking out of the window and watching the storm,” Hobbs said. “I heard a noise that sounded like a bunch of wood breaking and when I looked out that other window all I saw was white.
