The Seymour High School Choral Department will join with The Sevier County Choral Department this year to present its 2011 Winter Concert.
The concert will take place on Dec. 16 in the SHS auditorium.  The two award winning choirs will join together to sing several seasonal favorites such as “Carol of the Bells,” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
Former SHS and Sevier County Choir members are invited to join current members on the stage for the final selection, “O Holy Night.”
There are only 478 seats available, and tickets for the program will go sale at SHS starting Dec. 12.  The cost is $6 for all ages.  One dollar from every ticket sold at the gate will go to Cross Ministries.
Last year the SHS Choral Department donated $1,000 to the Volunteer Ministry Center, and in 2010, $1,000 was given to the Sevier County Food Bank.
