A head on wreck on Sunday in Seymour required two people to be airlifted to the hospital.
The wreck occurred on Canyon Hills Road off Chapman Highway. The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department responded to the collision, which required the occupants to be extracted from their vehicles, according to SVFD Assistant Chief Corky McCarter.
The victims were driven from the scene and airlifted. One helicopter set down at First Baptist Church, the other near Wye Road.
The extent of the occupants’’ injuries is unknown at this time.
