Food City in Seymour has made changes to their store and to draw in new customers, they are offering huge savings.
Jason Wayman, store manager, said that his store recently reorganized their items with new displays and almost 1,500 new items they have never had before.  In addition, new energy efficient LED have also been installed.
Food City is now offering special lock down prices on 10,000 items in the store and savings in special newspaper ads.
“At this location, people have been focusing on the weekly ads for special savings at this store alone,” Wayman said.
Food City’s reorganization comes at a strong time for sales with the new beer license recently awarded.  Steve Trout, district manager, indicated that beer sales have been strong and that they were very pleased the license was finally granted.
“We’ve had no negative response from any customers,” he said.
The lockdown savings will continue through Labor Day along with the special ads.
“These ads are trying to get people in here to see the changes,” Wayman said.
