Pets Without Parents Shelter, Sevier County’s first no-kill animal shelter, will hold a fundraiser concert this Friday to help raise funds and awareness.
Since opening in May, the shelter has drawn generous support from the community to help with the cost of essentials including cleaning supplies and especially dog food, 50 pounds of which they go through every few days.
This Friday will mark the 1st Annual All Paws Concert from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center.  In addition to a performance by the band Soul Driver, the event will also feature a raffle, a silent auction and food supplied by local restaurants.
The cost is $5 at the door and all proceeds will go to Pets Without Parents.
The Sevierville Civic Center is located at 200 Gary Wade Boulevard.  For more information on the shelter or about donations, visit their Web site at www.pwpshelter.com.  Pets Without Parents is located at 1408 Old Newport Highway in Sevierville.
