After receiving information from a concerned citizen, Sevierville Police Department officers arrested a Boone, NC man Aug. 8 for allegedly possessing a mobile methamphetamine lab.
Additionally, the man has been charged with aggravated kidnapping for reportedly holding his wife forcibly against her will.
SPD Detective Lt. Sam Hinson charged 33-year-old Shawn Marvin Thomas Lambert with one count of aggravated kidnapping, and one count of the manufacture of schedule II narcotics.
The SPD received considerable assistance from Sevier County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Matthew Cubberly and Lorne B. Kirby.
The lab was found in a truck near the Shell Mart near Interstate 40 in Kodak. Mr. Lambert’s bond was set at $250,000; he is also reportedly wanted in Mountain City, TN.
All persons are considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
