Robert Estes, area executive for Sevier County for BB&T, earned the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Award for May at the recent Coffee Talk event. Estes has worked with BB&T for eight years.
“There’s no better way to connect with the business community in Sevier County than through the Sevierville Chamber,” said Estes.
As a thank you for his dedication, Estes received a $100 gift card from the NOC and a plaque courtesy of Sign Master.
“Robert faithfully attends the Chamber meetings and has such a positive attitude,” said membership coordinator Jim McGill. “With those two qualities he has really made some good connections for BB&T by attending these events.”
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events. Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient.  
The next Chamber Friendship Award will be presented during Coffee Talk on August 16, 2011, hosted by FedEx / Kinkos. Coffee Talk begins at 8am at the Sevierville Civic Center.  Guests are welcome to attend and learn more about the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
