A motorcycle pursuit through Pigeon Forge on Sunday led to a wreck and multiple charges for the driver.
According to Captain Dennis Adams of the Pigeon Forge Police Department, the pursuit began when Gatlinburg police initiated a traffic stop on a motorcycle driven by Jeremy Allen Ayala of Hickson, Tennessee.  Ayala was able to slip away, but was spotted by PFPD soon after.
Ayala drove into oncoming traffic on the Parkway in an effort to elude police, but crashed into a police cruiser. No one was injured.
Adams indicated that Ayala’s license was revoked, prompting him to flee.
Ayala has been charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment and multiple traffic violations.  He was released on $35,000 bond.
