The votes of the judges are in and the winners have been recognized in their respective categories from the 36th annual Gatlinburg 4th of July Midnight Parade.
Grand Majestic Theater, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Theater and Santa’s Claus-et dominated the voting by judges for top entries in the annual showcase in downtown.
“In the past, the estimates of our local safety agencies indicate the streets of Gatlinburg are packed with approximately 100,000 spectators on the morning of the parade as we celebrate Independence Day, and this year we had as strong a crowd as ever,” special events manager George Hawkins said. “I believe that the attendance was due in no small part to the patriotism of our visitors, the volunteer efforts of thousands of parade participants, great weather and the job done well by our City Departments.”
