A local recycling fundraiser will help mission projects and people in need through Seymour United Methodist Church.
Supporters are helping the church earn funding by collecting empty ink cartridges as well as toner cartridges and cell phones from the community.  Then the waste products are sent to eCycle to be exchanged for funding to subsidize the church’s mission fund.
This fundraising method works because the used items can be refurbished or refilled and reused.
Individuals, families, and companies interested in demonstrating a commitment to helping those in need, both in our community and abroad, can participate in the program.  Simply drop off cartridges and cell phones at Seymour United Methodist Church located at the corner of Simmons Road and Chapman Highway in Seymour.
Businesses accruing a number of items may call the church to have them picked up at their place of business.
