The Sevier County Tea Party will host international speaker Bill Warner, Ph.D., Director of the Center for the Study of Political Islam this week.
The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. June 16 at the Sevierville Civic Center, 200 Gary R. Wade Boulevard, Sevierville, Tennessee. It is free to the public, everyone is welcome.
Warner is one of the foremost scholars of political Islam, its history and its doctrines.
He is a university professor, a businessman, and a physics researcher. To understand Islam, he gathered a group of scholars devoted to the scientific study of the foundational texts of Islam and created the Center for the Study of Political Islam (CSPI), headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. He and the members of CSPI have produced dozens of books, many of which will be available for purchase at the meeting.
“Few are doing the work that Mr.Warner has done,” said D. L. Adams, of the Nashville Chapter of ACT! for America. “The information in these lectures is fundamental to understanding what is happening in the world today, and why Islam is in conflict with us, though we would prefer it not to be so.”
“Warner will speak about political Islam’s foundational documents that direct the conflicts of the past and present,” said Pastor Rob Bremer, Chairman of the Sevier County Tea Party. “Dr. Warner will talk about Islam’s body of laws known as Sharia laws which are entirely different from our laws.
“Many of these laws should be matters of concern for the non-Muslim. Those who attend our meeting will understand these matters much more clearly. Islam and Sharia really are affecting America, its culture, and its citizens.”
Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Sevier County Food Ministries at a designated table during every Tea Party meeting. Attendees are encouraged to contribute.
