What a season it has been. With all the severe weather and the temperatures bouncing from hot to cold, people keep asking me, when is it going to calm down? I'm afraid the active weather pattern is still in place but on a bright note, the weekend looks pretty nice.
After yet another severe outbreak Wednesday and Wednesday night, things will clear out on Thursday. But after several days with temperatures in the 80s, highs on Thursday will only reach the upper 60s. Thursday night temperatures will actually return to the low-mid 40s.
We will finally get to enjoy the perfect spring day on Friday with plenty of sun and a high near 70. It's about time we had a perfect day, don't you agree? Temperatures will fall back into the 40s again on Friday night.
Why not make it two in a row? Saturday will also be bright and sunny but expect temperatures to warm back to near 80. Partly cloudy on Sunday as well with temperatures near 80. So at least the timing is right to bring us a break in the weather just in time for the weekend.
Enjoy that nice weekend as yet another cold front will be heading our way early next week. Expect yet another round of showers and storms on Monday into Monday night. Temperatures will then cool back to the 60s on Tuesday as the skies clear.
So enjoy the weekend, but the active weather pattern isn't about to come to an end just yet.
