Seymour Heights Christian Church and C.R.O.S.S. food ministry will jointly host a rummage sale on May 20 and 21 at Seymour Heights Christian Church.
The sale will be open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.  Saturday will include a $3 Clothing Bag Sale and 50 percent off all other items at designated times.  Breakfast and lunch will be served both days for a nominal fee.
This is the 7th rummage sale to raise funds for missions for Seymour Heights Christian Church, and the 2nd year they have partnered with C.R.O.S.S.  A total of $8,200 was raised from the sale last year.  The proceeds from the sale are split evenly between the two ministries.
C.R.O.S.S. greatly appreciated the extra funds during this troubled economy.
“This partnership is truly a blessing for C.R.O.S.S., and very much appreciated by those volunteers who have worked past outdoor rummage sales at the C.R.O.S.S. facility,” said former C.R.O.S.S. President, Dottie Sollman. “At Seymour Heights, we not only have a roof over our heads to shelter us from the elements, but air-conditioning to work in.  This collaboration is very definitely a win-win situation.”
