Experience the beauty of Pigeon Forge’s Greenway while raising awareness for Keep Sevier Beautiful during the Great American Cleanup in the inaugural 5K Preserving the Mountain in Me run/walk.
On April 16 participants can walk or run this litter free event which benefits all who live in Sevier County. The race begins at the Pigeon Forge municipal parking lot and runs down Teaster Lane to Old Mill Road. The race finishes along the picturesque Pigeon Forge greenway.
All participants have an opportunity to win incredible door prizes – gift certificates from local businesses, restaurants and area attractions. In addition, each participant will receive t-shirts and nylon backpacks filled with coupons and offers from our sponsors if registered by April 10.
Awards will be given for: Top 3 males and females overall and the top 3 males and females in each age division: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and above.
Preserving the Mountain in Me coincides with the Great American Cleanup. As with all Keep Sevier Beautiful’s events during the cleanup, shoes will be collected for the non-profit Souls4Soles. Souls4Soles is a Nashville based non-profit organization that distributes shoes to the needy throughout the world.
