The popular local event “Cruisin’ Seymour” will start back up for its second season this spring.
After taking some time off to steer clear of the winter weather residents will be able to cruise once again beginning April1.
The cruise, held Fridays at 5 p.m. at the Wendy’s in the Macon Crossing Shopping Center, began last April and quickly gained a loyal following.
Back in October when the event ended for the season it was averaging about 80 cars per night, from classics to contemporary vehicles.
Organizers say that everyone is welcome at the cruise and stress that it is a family friendly event.
In addition to simply appreciating the rides, cruisers can also receive free giveaways from local merchants and listen to music provided by a disc jockey every Friday.
