A local food ministry will hold a fundraiser to benefit those less fortunate in the Seymour area.
C.R.O.S.S. will hold a Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser at Seymour First Baptist Church, 11621 Chapman Hwy., from 4 to 7 p.m. March 11.
Organizers stress that this is not the normal, “run-of-the-mill” spaghetti supper because the sauce is a special recipe created over 30 years ago by SFB member Linda Sunday.
The menu will include garlic bread, spring mix salad, and a large array of home-baked goods to choose from for dessert.
There will also be a bake sale featuring treats made by several members of local churches.
There were over 50 home-baked cakes, pies, brownies, pumpkin rolls, and even fried pies donated for the sale last year.
The supper is eat-in or take-out and is $7 for adults, children younger than 12 with an adult eat free.
Tickets can be purchased at C.R.O.S.S. sponsoring churches or at the door the night of the event.
