Additional charges have been placed against the two Sevier County men who burglarized several rental cabins in the Sky Harbor community during the weekend of Jan. 15.
Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said that the additional charges were p resented to a Sevier County Grand Jury and nine additional Aggravated Burglary, Theft, and Vandalism charges were returned by the Grand Jury.
Daniel Mart Watson and Rodney J. Ruffin, both 19 and of Sevierville, are still incarcerated in Sevier County Jail from the original burglary charges that were placed on Jan. 16 by Sevier County detectives.
Officers were able to determine that approximately 12 unoccupied rental homes had been burglarized during the winter snow storm nearly two weeks ago in the cabin development.
Investigators are still working to identify where the stolen items from the cabins were ultimately sold.
