Gregory Payne, account manager for What to Do Guide, earned the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Award for December at the recent Coffee Talk event. Payne has worked with What to Do Guide for eleven years.
“Sevierville is truly fortunate to have such a wonderful and hard working chamber of commerce to represent our city,” says Payne. “It has been a joy to work with such a professional and courteous chamber staff. They have always gone above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me, our company and all the referrals that we have direct to them. Thank you and I look forward to many more years of working with you.”
As a thank you for his dedication, Payne received $100 gift card from The Chop House and a plaque courtesy of Sign Master.
“Gregory doesn’t say a lot in front of a crowd, but is a great at one on one conversations and making the kind of networking connections that help grow businesses,” says Sevierville Chamber of Commerce membership coordinator Jim McGill. “He really supports the community and other business members.”
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events. Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient.
