As of January 1, 2011, Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic (serving exclusively the medically uninsured) will no longer require proof of income for office visits.
The clinic’s charge for regular office visits will be $25 for everyone instead of using a sliding scale.
Medications, laboratory tests, injections and other procedures will continue to have a separate charge from the office visit charge. Proof of income still may be needed for referrals to specialists and the pharmacy assistance program.
Also beginning January 1, 2011, appointments for Dental Services will be made one week prior to the day of service.
Office staff feels that this change in scheduling will eliminate long waiting lists and is a similar method to how we schedule medical visits.
