Two Sevier County men have been arrested in connection with a burglary and theft that occurred in Sevier County.
Silas M. Gibson, 27, and Donald Gillespie, 30, have been charged in connection with a burglary that occurred on Dec. 14 at a Debra’s Way house where copper wiring was striped and appliances were taken from a home.
Both men were also charged with theft and reckless endangerment in connection with the theft of copper wire from a Dillard-Smith electrical truck that was parked on Jones Cove Road on Dec. 13.
Gillespie was also served with an outstanding failure to appear warrant.
Both men were arraigned before a magistrate and a $50,000 bond was set on Gillespie and a hold was placed on Gibson.
Both are currently incarcerated in Sevier County Jail.
