Three Sevier County Officers were recognized during the December meeting of the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
Deputy Turhan “Randy Thomas was presented with a plaque in recognition for his Outstanding Service in D.U.I. Enforcement for the year of 2010 and Deputy Ryan Cleaveland was also presented with a plaque in recognition for his Extraordinary Commitment to Highway Safety in keeping the roadways safe in Sevier County in 2010.
In addition, Cpl. Gary Kent accepted an award at the same meeting on behalf of Sevier County Sheriff’s Office from Safe Kids of the Greater Knox Area for the year 2010 for Exceptional Commitment to Keeping Children Safe through the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office Child Passenger Safety Seat Program.
