Sevier County 4-H partnered with the Sevier County Boys & Girls clubs in applying for and receiving a Tennessee 4-H Health Rocks Grant totaling $2,500.
Health Rocks is a healthy living curriculum targeted to eight-to-14 year olds with a goal of bringing youth, families and communities together to reduce tobacco, alcohol and other drug use by youth.
The grant provided curriculum, teaching materials, support and recognition to the 416 4-H/Boys & Girls Club members who participated this past summer.
4-H teens providing leadership include Rima Bhula, Hannah Clevenger, Jenny Patel and Yesha Patel.
