There are three days left of early voting in Seymour for the November 2 State of Tennessee General Election.
The Seymour early voting location is located at the Seymour Branch of the Sevier County Library System, 137 W. Macon Lane.
Early voting will continue from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 21 and 22, and from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 23.
The second Sevier County early voting location is at the Voting Machine Warehouse in Sevierville, 1145 Dolly Parton Parkway.
Early voting will continue to take place at that location from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday through Oct. 28.
The purpose of early voting is to give residents a chance to come out and vote early so they don’t have to wait in long lines on Election Day.
The Sevier County Election Commission prints off an application for early voters to sign and they will then cast their vote on machines that are designated for early voters. The machines are the same type that will be used on Election Day.
