U.S. Congressman Phil Roe, M.D. (TN-1) spoke at the Sevier County Republican Party meeting last month.
He spoke to a crowd of about 50 people, including Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters, at the Sevier County Courthouse.
One of the major themes of his speech was the health care system.
He presented a flow chart that represented the American Health Care System and said that nobody could follow it.
Roe added that the system should be repealed for the good of the American people.
The Sevier County Republican Party holds an annual meeting at 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month at the Sevier County Courthouse.
