Former students of a local high school celebrated a milestone over the weekend.
The Sevier County High Class of 1960 held its 50th class reunion Saturday at the River Plantation Convention center.
One hundred and thirty two guests were present including 75 class members.
The only surviving sponsor/teacher, Mrs. Kate Latham, was also in attendance.
"I loved all my students and I have a special place in my heart for the class of 1960," she said.
Many class members said that it was the best reunion they had ever hand.
There was a discussion among the class members that the reunions should be more frequent, possibly every two years.
