The Tennessee Firearms Association Knoxville Chapter will hold its next meeting on Aug. 3.
The guest speaker at the meeting will be from the Knoxville Police Bomb Squad.
With a constant threat of terrorism, the association believes everyone needs to know what to look for and how to react in the event they suspect they have come into contact with an explosive device.
Meetings are held at Gondolier Restaurant in South Knoxville just off Chapman Hwy., behind IHop in the Lowe’s plaza.
A pre-meeting social hour is from 6 to 7 p.m. when participants may eat dinner. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Participation by those in attendance is always encouraged.
Firearms are permitted in the restaurant, pursuant to current law.
Gun owners, persons involved in the shooting sports, Second Amendment supporters and interested public are urged to attend, those interested do not need to be a member or attend.
