A Sevier County man who went missing Friday night was found Monday morning.
According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals the missing man, Eric Brummett, 33, was located at approximately 10:30 a.m. Monday morning at a rescue mission in Knoxville by K.P.D. officers.
Brummett has walked away from his Oympia Court home Friday night and had not been seen since.
A search of the immediate area has been conducted by Sheriff’s Department and Rescue Squad personnel on Saturday.
The Sheriff’s Office has been working through the weekend following leads and interviewing friends and family members trying to determine his whereabouts.
Brummett was transported back to Sevier County be SCSO officers and turned over to family members at the Sevier Co. Sheriffs Office.
Seals said that he was relieved that Brummett was found and had not come to any harm and would like to also thank everyone who assisted the Sheriff’s Office and family of Brummett in the search efforts.
