An event on the water that attracts thousands could use some great volunteers this year.
     Volunteers are needed for the 8th Annual Knoxville Dragon Boat Festival, Presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union, and benefiting Knox Area Rescue Ministries.   
     The event is June 26 at the Cove at Concord Park. About 100 volunteers help make this event a success.
     All volunteers get an event t-shirt and will be placed at one of many volunteer stations, including: marshaling, docking, registration, children’s area or parking, among other areas.
     The day will feature more than 60 corporate and community teams racing in dragon boats.
     Volunteers join in the fun and help make a difference by making the day go smoothly.
