The Seymour Business Association is currently accepting charter membership applications until July 9.
The active organization meets twice a month, the second and fourth Monday, at Connie’s Kitchen on Chapman Hwy.
It is the association’s goal is to promote the benefit of doing business in Seymour and focuses on keeping consumers local.
Membership applications to the Seymour Business Association must be submitted and approved by the board and applications must be accompanied by a $50 check, which are the annual dues from January to December.
Membership in the association grants participation in all association events, activities, functions and benefits. Membership dues are based on an annual basis, renewable each calendar year in January. There is no pro-rating of the dues.
Approved members must agree to abide by all the rules of the Seymour Business Association and promote the association, as well as members of the association.
Applications will be reviewed and voted upon the next meeting following the submission.
In addition, the Seymour Business Association will be submitting an application to become a 501.3(c) organization.
By completing and submitting the accompanying application form to P.0. Box 1228, Seymour, TN 3786, the applicant acknowledges, understands and agrees to the stipulations above in their entirety.
