The Sevier County Public Library System invites residents so become involved with a book club this year.
The SCPLS Main Library Fireside Book Club reads contemporary, electronic books, the Seymour Branch Inspirational Reading Club focuses on an inspirational author and their works each month instead of a specific book, and the Kodak Branch Literary Classics Book Club discusses previous and more recent classics.
Each club holds a monthly meeting and the June meeting dates, authors and books are as follows:
At 10 a.m. June 11 the Fireside Book Club will discuss Diane Ackerman’s book “The Zookeeper’s Wife: A War Story.” The club meets at Fort Sanders Sevier County Senior Center, 1220 West Main Street in Sevierville.

At 1 p.m. June 9 the Inspirational Reading Club will feature the author Robin Lee Hatcher and her books. The club meets at the Seymour Branch Library, 137 West Macon Lane in Seymour.
