Oakley Fox, a senior at Seymour High School, will be heading to Cougar Field in the fall after signing with Cleveland State Community College.
"I'm very excited about it," said Fox. "My brother Drew was there for two years and he is graduating and coming back to go to school at UT. I will be mainly pitching for the team."
Fox's coach Scott Norman said, "We wish him luck. He will be an asset to the team. He's a great pitcher and he can hit the ball. I think they will use him as a position player as well. He's a super kid, a positive player and a hard worker."
Norman added that while Fox was off while injured he was a still at the field giving it all he had. "He'd come and run do what he could, he'd be a leader in the dugout."
