Historic Cherokee Caverns in Knoxville will offer Lantern and Flashlight tours to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 22.
The cave is located at 8524 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN 37931. Admission is $7 per person (cash only). Children ages 6 and younger are free. Free parking and restrooms are available. The cave is handicap accessible.
These tours of the cave will be similar to the tours the caverns conducted back in 1929 when it first opened to the public. It will be a different way to experience the most historical and the most beautiful cavern in Knox County.
Guests will enjoy 1,000 feet of the trails and encouraged to bring their favorite flashlight (not required) and a camera to take some photos of the cave.
