ST. LOUIS – Pi Beta Phi Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity, announced the Evelyn and Stand Kyle Arrowmont Scholarship is fully endowed. This scholarship supplements the cost of attending a class at Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts in Gatlinburg.
The scholarship was made possible through a bequest to Pi Beta Phi Foundation from Evelyn Peters Kyle, a loyal member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity and long-standing supporter of the Foundation. Evelyn was a member of Pi Beta Phi Foundation’s Marianne Reid Wild Society for planned giving. She left a generous unrestricted bequest to the Foundation, including a provision for an endowed scholarship to attend classes at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.
To make the scholarship available immediately, Pi Beta Phi Foundation’s Board of Trustees designated additional funds to the scholarship. The scholarship will provide funds into perpetuity.
Pi Beta Phi Foundation offers the following Arrowmont scholarships to both Pi Beta Phi members and nonmembers: C.A. Eckel Edwards Nashville Alumnae Club Scholarship; Hesperia Aylsworth Henderson Scholarship; Helen Anderson Lewis Scholarship; Margaret Marshall Wood Nashville Alumnae Club Scholarship; and Evelyn and Stan Kyle Scholarship.
Foundation scholarship applications to attend Arrowmont should be submitted two months prior to the date of the applicant’s preferred course. To apply online or for more information about the scholarships available, please visit www.pibetaphifoundation.org.
