
For the past few years the Seymour High School Y-teens have volunteered their weekends in November and December to ring bells for the Salvation Army Christmas Effort.
All Together SHS Y-teens have volunteered over 80 service hours, to help provide for less fortunate families in our community.
On March 11 Lt. Justin Caldwell with the Salvation Army came and presented the Y-teens with "The 2009 Salvation Army Bell Ringer Award" in recognition of their generous service to their community through the Salvation Army Christmas Effort.
The Y-teens at Seymour are a very large club of over 125 girls who are constantly volunteering in our community. The Y-teens are sponsored by Tami McCroskey & Cassi Cardiel.
