The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department was one of eight fire departments to respond to a fire that destroyed three cabins in Sevierville last Thursday.
The cabins were located on Buck Lane and fire departments arrived at the scene after the fire was spotted at 10 p.m.
No one was injured in the blaze and the three cabins, including a fourth that was damaged, were vacant.
“We sent five firefighters and the chief officer to assist with the fire,” said SVFD volunteer Kenny Cornett.
The SVFD also sent one vehicle to the scene, it was among 19 others.
It is unclear what started the fire, and Cornett said he is unsure of how long it took before the blaze was extinguished.
