The 17th Annual Sevier County Student Art Show is currently on exhibit at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in downtown Gatlinburg.
The exhibit is open to the public through March 6 at Arrowmont, on the Parkway in Gatlinburg (across from Ripley's Aquarium).
Viewing hours are Mon-Sat 8:30-4:30.
Over 100 students, families and teachers crowded into the Arrowmont painting studio Friday evening to attend the awards ceremony.
Cash prizes totaling over $1500 were awarded to 44 students in all media, including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography and Mixed Media.
This year's awards juror was Karen Green, gallery coordinator at Arrowmont.
