CROSS would like to express heartfelt thanks to the following individuals, businesses, and organizations who went way above and beyond to make our recent CROSS Appreciation Dinner a smashing success:  Seymour United Methodist Church for hosting the luncheon.  Shane King of Praise FM and Middle Man Ministries for being the Master of Ceremonies.  Tommy Spencer and Lauren King for taking time out of their busy schedules to provide entertainment.  Bruce Anderson of KARM for speaking on “The Kingdom of God in Seymour.”  Willie Laboy, owner of Willie’s Restaurant at 11612 Chapman Highway, for donating and preparing the delicious spaghetti lunch and salads.  Pam Perry, owner of The Kitchen Cupboard at 10341 Chapman Highway, for donating and preparing the beautiful, luscious desserts.  The following businesses and organizations for providing a generous array of door prizes and gift bags for our guests:  Aid Association for Lutherans, The Bakery Lady, Burchfiel Overlay & Associates, Christian Appalachian Project, His Place Christian Book Store, Knox Area Rescue Ministries, Knoxville Post Office Credit Union, Mountain National Bank, Sevier County Bank, Tanger Outlets, Tennessee State Bank, and Tri-County News.  The ladies of Seymour Heights Christian Church for baking and decorating 30 dozen cookies for our guests.  All of the CROSS volunteers who worked hard to help plan, decorate, serve in the kitchen, serve tables, and clean up.  Amanda Webb who did the photography.
And last but not least, The Mountain Press, Seymour Herald, and Tri-County News for providing coverage to keep the community informed on the new direction of CROSS.  We do believe God has great plans for Seymour.  Stay tuned!
